Nissan has unveiled its new IDS autonomous electric concept car at the Tokyo Motorshow. The company said the IDS was the next step of its plan to launch a number of autonomous vehicles by 2020.
The car has both piloted and manual drive modes, with an interior that changes depending on which mode it is in. In the piloted self-driving mode, the seats rotate inward, and the steering wheel recedes into the dashboard, giving the driver space to relax.
